REGISTRATION OPEN: NEZ Preseason Baseball Camp

Due to the new enhanced public health guidelines from the province that became effective on December 13, 2020, the decision has been made to reschedule the NEZ Community Winter Camp from January/February to March/April.  The camp will be rebranded as the NEZ Preseason Baseball Camp and treated as a skills-focused lead-in to the 2021 season.  With the current enhanced guidelines in place until at least mid-January, we felt it best to push back the timing until when it is more likely that the camp can run while enhancing the preseason experience for players.

We intend to maintain the structure of the camp with two sessions per week over the 8-week preseason with a focus on skill development in all aspects of baseball.  This camp will be geared primarily toward younger players (Rally Cap / 9U and 11U /13U divisions intended based on registrations) and older player division(s) will be considered if there is interest.  Edmonton Padres AAA and AA tryouts at 11U, 13U, 15U and 18U are still planned to take place over the month of March and those teams will practice once team selection is complete.  Players interested in trying out for Edmonton Padres teams should consider the Padres High Performance Program offseason option which is targeted to resume for the month of February.
